Job Title:
Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location:
Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:


  • Perform onsite service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Coordinate activities with peers, supervisors, and customers to minimize equipment downtime
  • Order and install parts as needed
  • Respond to emergency service calls promptly
  • Instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
  • Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as required
  • Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training and materials
  • Ensure upkeep, maintenance, and security of company property, including vehicles and tools
  • Maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both the company and customers

Qualifications:


  • Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
  • 2+ years of previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
  • Excellent customer interface skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use appropriate tools
  • Thorough understanding of technical issues involving equipment maintenance, repair, and installation
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including working in confined areas, lifting/carrying objects up to 35 pounds, and using personal protection equipment

Additional Requirements:


  • Shift Type: Initially 6 backend nights, potential to switch to a different shift over time
  • Special Equipment Required: Safety shoes and safety glasses
  • 20% travel required for training purposes

$ $33.00 per hour
