Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team.
As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet students and provide a positive dining experience
- Ensure students have all necessary components to qualify as a reimbursable meal
- Assist students and staff with inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Operate POS system and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Assist in kitchen and dish machine in between lunch service times
- Assist with end of day clean up and sanitation protocol
- Count cash draw and process transactions at the end of each day
- Verify meal counts match with Manager's numbers
Experience:
- Proficiency in retail math for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with cash registers, POS systems, and electronic sales terminals
- Knowledge of stock management to assist in inventory control
- Sales experience to upsell products or promotions effectively
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while delivering exceptional service

$ $14.84 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
