We're looking for a credentialed and skilled
MFM Sonographer** to provide diagnostic services to our new physician partners in the San Antonio area.

You'll work a regular schedule (no weekends) alongside a dedicated Technical Assistant (region-specific) and gain experience in a variety of work environments.

BB Imaging Travel Sonographers will be part of an internal traveler bench and will be called upon as travel assignments arise.

As a BB Imaging Travel Sonographer, or as we like to call you - "The Venturer," you will be a vital lifeline for new clinic planning, training, and expansion coverage.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there)
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, predominantly in new and developing regions.
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
• Assist with onsite training of new hires as needed.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Graduate of a CAAHEPaccredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
• Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
• 2+ years of OB experience
• Flexible availability to travel within the United States
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
• Multiple registries across modalities
