Job DescriptionSalary: $18- $22

Warehouse Worker is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and putting appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. The warehouse worker will load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles. They will select products from the warehouse, load, and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to the delivery area, and load merchandise. The warehouse worker will unload stock from delivery vehicles and transport it to and store in designated warehouse positions. They will keep the work environment clean and tidy at all times, and comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Warehouse Worker duties and responsibilities:

Start/End Time: 08:30 am to 5:00 pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch

A Warehouse Worker is responsible for always ensuring the satisfaction of customers. The following duties and responsibilities are:

Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
Accepting delivery of inventory
Counting and confirming inventory
Inspecting inventory for damage and faults
Communicating errors to relevant parties
Marking and labeling stock
Storing inventory in accessible manner
Loading and wrapping stock on pallets
Building loads with forklift and pallet jack
Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
Assisting with training of newly employed workers
Other duties as assigned

Warehouse Worker requirements and skills

Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse
Ability to operate forklift proficiently
Strong people skills
Good moral character
Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions
Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance
Available to work extended hours, including Saturday and Sunday, when necessary
