    MercyOne Iowa is seeking BC/BE Hematologist Oncologists to help build a new team.

    Become an integral part of our well-established, statewide cancer service line as we embark on an exciting expansion in the Des Moines market.

    Opportunity Highlights

    • Volume: 12-15 patients/day
    • Primarily Outpatient
    • Admit to Hospitalist service
    • APP inpatient rounding

    Opportunity Details

    • 2-year income guarantee of $650,000
    * $600,000 salary floor plus production starting year 3
    * $150,000 recruitment incentive

    • Radiation Oncology: Two locations equipped with five linear accelerators and the only CyberKnife in Iowa.

    Diagnostic Capabilities:

    Colorectal Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Pulmonology with first site in Iowa to offer ION technology for robotic-assisted lung biopsies.


    • Weekly Multidisciplinary Lung Clinic for coordinated patient management.
    • 11 Cancer Conferences held monthly across disease sites for collaborative treatment planning.
    • Comprehensive Support Services: Palliative Care, Integrative Oncology Services supported by MercyOne Des Moines Foundation.
    • Accreditations: CoC, NAPBC, NAPRC, and ACR.
    • Strategic Partnership with The Iowa Clinic to expand access to high-quality cancer care in Central Iowa through Radiation Oncology, Hematology Oncology, Surgical Oncology including dedicated GYN Oncologist.
