Position:
Embedded Site Security Technician
Our team seeks a motivated, knowledgeable, and talented Integrated Security Site Coordinator to provide the overall on-site integrated security management including development, configuration, testing, and installation of enterprise-wide physical security projects for client sites.
You will be an integral part of the team and will aid the company in achieving its mission of protecting the people, facilities, and assets of the client.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Security Access for site location including Add/Remove/Changes.
- Develop, Manage, and Report Security SOPs, Daily System Health Checks, and Inventory requirements.
- Development, installation, service, troubleshooting, and programming of commercial / enterprisewide access control systems, IP CCTV systems, wireless networks, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Monitor proactively for system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Assist postsales engineering and project management as necessary with technical issues & redesigns.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide the optimized view and function of security cameras.
- Maintain detailed and accurate notations of configuration management of client sites.
- Afterhours / oncall availability required.
- Complete internal projects as assigned.
- Assist operations team with I.T. field support & direction.
- Maintain and develop a healthy and positive team culture.
- Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
- Cultivate client relationships into partnerships.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED required. Technical or college degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience installing Access Control & CCTV systems in a commercial environment or similar equivalent combination of work experience.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
- Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Manufacturer certifications in Avigilon, Bosch, ICT preferred
- Responsible for reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside the organization.
- A selfstarter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Possess excellent mechanical, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
- Increase job knowledge through continuing education and professional development opportunities, attend conferences, and read professional industry publications.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Regular and Timely Attendance
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a break
- Position requires bending, twisting, stooping and climbing
- Ability to use ladders and lifts at height to perform installation and service
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Position requires pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally
- May be exposed to temperature changes, heights, small spaces including confined spaces
- Ability to distinguish colors and use hands for repetitive fine manipulation frequently
- Must pass initial and random substance abuse tests & background checks

40 hours a week competitive hourly rate, with possible overtime.
