    Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our teamResponsibilities Produce machined parts by setting up, and operating a mill and/or computer numerical control (CNC) machinePlan machining by studying work orders and blueprintsSet up mills by tramming/indicating vices and/or work materialMaintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirementsMaintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needsDevelop instructions for CNC TechniciansReview 3D CAD designDetermine steps for programming including where materials should be cutConvert instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) programDetermine job order and perform associated calculationsCompose programs and revise existing ones for increased efficiencyQualificationsExperience with CNC machining and programmingExperience running Tarus 3+2 preferred Programming experience required preferably in WorkNC Familiarity with Fanuc controllersPreferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace, automotive or defense is a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceVacation and Holiday payEmployer matching 401KHybrid work schedule after 90 days for eligible positionsTuition ReimbursementFlexible Spending Programs (FSAs)Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Referral ProgramAdditional Voluntary Benefit ProgramsOff-site company events & Employee LuncheonsWho are we?Waltonen Engineering, Inc.
