Recognized nationally as a Top 100 broadband provider, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide our customers with excellent customer service and prompt solutions to their needs.
You will be Smithville's messenger and key storyteller making decisions that include what creative messaging will best reach the target consumer, when and how to test messages and incrementally improve them, when messages are released to consumers, and in what sequence.
We will look to you to generate ideas and approaches to respond to creative briefs, collaborate with marketing and sales representatives to understand products and internal and external communication needs, and gather/analyze information to understand consumer needs and competitive response.
Additionally, you will draft and propose communication campaigns, create and execute a 12-month multi-channel content calendar, and create multi-channel campaigns.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field Minimum one year of experience in a related role Ability to persuade and inspire (verbally and in writing)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Capacity and desire to distill complex ideas to their simplest forms Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESCreativity - 40%Generating ideas and approaches to respond to creative briefs created by marketing strategists and product owners Creating and executing a 12-month multi-channel content calendar and producing multi-channel campaigns Data-driven decision making - 30%Gathering information to understand consumer needs and competitive response, such as collateral materials, previous marketing campaigns, and websites; analyzing these materials to determine the most effective communications technique to educate and persuade consumers Drafting and proposing communications campaigns based on assessment, which may include social and online media, email, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia Evaluating the success of campaigns when completed and iterating creative messaging based on consumer response Collaboration and Support - 30%Collaborating with marketing and sales representatives to fully understand product and communication needs Developing Video scripts and assisting with production scheduling BENEFITS HIGHLIGHTSInsurance Plans include:
