We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Heilerziehungspfleger or Erzieher for our social therapeutic residential project at our Pro Seniore nursing home in Meinekestraße, Berlin.

Our nursing home is centrally located in the heart of Berlin and provides a home for 93 mentally impaired residents in long-term care and 46 residents in our social therapeutic residential project.

Our residents enjoy easy access to the famous shopping street Kurfürstendamm and often join us for outings and coffee trips.

Your responsibilities:

Support our residents as their right hand in all life situations
Act as the first point of contact
Consider the mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents
Create individual therapy plans and document therapy progress
Plan and accompany daily structured activities and leisure time
Assist with the development of social and familial relationships for our residents
Design treatment and rehabilitation plans
Conduct counseling, support, and reflection conversations

Your profile:

Empathy and strong social skills
Ideally, some experience working with chronically and mentally ill individuals
Completed training as an Erzieher, Heilerziehungspfleger, or similar qualification
Willingness to work in shifts on the residential units
