Description

The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering firms in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for you as a project engineer in the team for environmental and noise protection for the GSH (m/f/d) at DB Netz AG in Munich.

In consultation with your supervisor, you can choose your place of work and alternate between mobile work and working in the office (location Nuremberg or Munich).

You may be wondering what GSH stands for. It stands for the so-called general renovation of high-performance networks.

With our new approach, we want to bundle DB construction projects much more strongly in the future and completely renew sections of track that are in need of renovation within a short period of time.

This includes sleepers and ballast, tracks and switches, signals and signal boxes, as well as train stations.

This means that the track will be closed once, and then there will be no major construction work for several years.

In addition, the renovated sections will be significantly more efficient, have a first-class equipment standard, and be prepared for the digital railway operations of the future.
