What You Can Expect
The Land Legal Coordinator will sit in Santa Barbara, CA.

In this role you will support the ongoing operations of the land legal team for US Renewables Development group within our legal team supporting solar and wind development.


As the Land Legal Coordinator for this position, you must be a detail-oriented cohesive collaborator with an optimistic attitude, and a self-starter with the ability to relate to diverse groups of people; balance conflicting resources and priorities; highly organized and proficient at maintaining documents and tracking spreadsheets for multiple projects.

In this role you must be able to learn and follow processes and protocols set in place to maintain the flow of project development activities.


  • Coordinate the preparation, distribution, execution, recording, and filing of land contracts across multiple teams and technologies
  • Responsible for intake and quality control of all land contract documents prior to processing and recording
  • Responsible for the management of landowner agreements, contracts, and document intakes, electronic/hard copy filings, creation, and coordination process for all land contracts, and project related agreements, files, and documents by scanning, uploading, and organizing the files in the company's database
  • Tracking and maintaining land contracts and payment database to ensure timely and accurate land contracts payments
  • Reviewing contracts for signature and approvals
  • Backup support for project related data entry in company data bases for contract and project reporting purposes and various daytoday clerical tasks and assignments, such as mass mailings

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree is required where you have experience as a contract administrator or similar administrative role, preferably within a legal department or renewable energy related field
  • Being timely, consistent, reliable, and have a positive approach to your work with effective verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat working with and editing PDF's
  • Teamoriented, highly organized, and detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks or assignments simultaneously and efficiently between varying priorities without direct supervision

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy

Compensation

Salary Range:
$ $40.09 USD hourly

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
