Start your apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) in Roanoke

The apprenticeship:
Industrial mechanics build mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, assemble them into complex systems, install control software, and maintain the systems in production.

The apprenticeship for industrial mechanics lasts 3.5 years, which can be shortened under certain conditions.

Training contents:

  • Learning and applying basics of metalworking, electronics, and pneumatics
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as inspection and maintenance of modern, CNC-supported machines, systems, and robotic systems
  • Participation in the assembly and commissioning of new machines and systems in a production environment
  • Basics of electrical installations in buildings and programming of machines
