    Description
    Century Group is searching for a Staff Accountant to join a non-profit organization in San Francisco. This position will help with Grant Accounting and Investment Accounting. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $42 to $47 per hour.


    Job Description:
    Extensive Account Reconciliations and ability to discern between restricted and non restricted funds
    Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliation for assigned accounts
    Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and other financial reports as requested
    Support month end and year end close processes
    Support annual budgeting planning and monthly forecast process
    Maintain and update desk manual on a semi-annual basis to capture current accounting procedures
    Maintain high level of accuracy on data entry and meet all established timelines


    Requirements:
    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
    Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences


    Experience:
    Non-Profit Accounting experience desired.
