- Perform pricing tasks and generate quotes for submittal.
- Provide ad hoc pricing analysis as required by the team.
- Initiate or support continuous improvement projects related to pricing strategies.
- Perform internal analysis on similar products to optimize pricing strategies.
- Complete other miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by the Pricing team.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Radius is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment with fluctuating workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and extremely detail-oriented.
- B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or business.
- 1-3 years experience working in a pricing or financial analyst role in manufacturing and converting or related industry.
- 1-3 years of experience working with ERP systems, particularly manufacturing and costing.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills creating complex, inter-related models and formulas.
- Superior communication skills, analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Ability to assess highly complex scenarios and propose alternative solutions.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
- Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to management.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work with cross functional groups, teams, and accommodate changing business priorities. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proven success in managing various projects while organizing tasks with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Must have the ability to focus on detail while multi-tasking with minimal margin of error.
