    Title: Assistant Project Manager - Civil Construction

    Type: Full Time, Exempt

    Location: Reston, VA

    Reports to: Division Director

    Muller is a full-service Site Work Contractor based in Northern Virginia. Our unique technology and systems-driven approach has led us to become a leading provider of sustainable civil construction services throughout Maryland, Virginia, and DC.

    As a successful civil sustainable construction business, Muller Inc is expanding. We are excited to look for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager with 3+ years of construction experience in the DC Metro. Our Assistant Project Manager will support our Project Manager and collaborate with clients and project teams throughout the project and construction management process. Of particular interest is an APM professional with a proven track record working on site construction projects, ideally will have some field experience and/or heavy civil internship experience.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist current Director with tasks including but not limited to:
    • Creating billing cover sheets
    • Daily Job Ticket Review and send out
    • T&M mark up on Daily Job Tickets
    • Take off quantity review
    • Compiling Submittals
    • Ordering and Scheduling Materials from Vendors
    • Compiling Safety Document
    • Compiling preloads or inquiring on material inventory from Yard
      • Crew tracking on production
    • Coordinate Miss Utility Requests
    • Drafting job instruction sheets (foreman job sheets) for crew members every day
      • sourcing odds & ends material or equipment for bond release projects
      • help sourcing vendors or subcontractors
      • VDOT Material tracking and managing spreadsheets
    Required Qualifications:
    • College Degree or significant experience in construction industry (3+ years)
    • Can define or understands what silt fence, super silt fence, or under drain is
    • Has data entry experience on Excel & Adobe. Knowledge of basic functions such as adding, searching, inserting, or marking up documents
    • Ability to read civil plans
    • Excellent project management, time management and organization skills in managing competing priorities and deadlines
    • Professional, Resourceful, Pro-active, Self-Starter, Solutions-based mentality in navigating the unknown
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required: Microsoft, SharePoint, Adobe, Excel
    • Experience with BlueBeam, Procore, BuildingConnected or other various Project Management software is a plus
    • Valid Driver's License
    • OSHA 30 certification is preferred
