Duties:


  • You will generate and process all official correspondence and records associated with investigation, legal and administrative punishment proceedings, sentencing documentation and inclusion in the service member's service record book.
  • You will track service record books, unit diary entries and all related matters pertaining to the administrative aspects of personnel pending appellate leave, in an unauthorized absence and the administration of all deserters.
  • You will research specific data for completion of forms contained in service record books.
  • You will join and track all longterm prisoners transferred via Service Record to this command including those in the hands of civilian authority.
  • You will provide accurate, timely advice on regulations, procedures, policies, requirements and other matters necessary to implement the Commanders' intent.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a preappointment physical examination.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following
