Description

Under the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, support, develop and maintain relationships with all insurance providers within our network.

This position responds to inquiries, replies to referrals, and successfully engage to bring additional insurance providers in which to partner.

This position also manages and conducts out-of-network negotiations and contracting as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Support and maintain a positive relationship between managedcare networks and the laboratory
Oversee the daily operations of managedcare networks and other health plan contracts
Follow up with contract negotiations
Respond, immediately, to external managedcare related issues
Provide ongoing managedcare network education to sales staff, when needed

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

Successfully initiate new managedcare and other insurance network relationships
Successfully implement contracts with managedcare and other insurance networks
Experience meeting deadlines
Work well under pressure

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of experience in healthcare managedcare contracting
Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory managedcare contract developing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

Pay:
From $55,000.00 per year
