Description

We are currently hiring an IP Network Engineer during an exciting growth period that will take the lead to help build out a network in the DFW Metroplex.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

Routers and Switches
a Fiber Optic Network

This role provides up to $120k in Salary with a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain optical transmission systems, IP routing and switching equipment, and Wi-Fi routing solutions
Configure and maintain IP routing infrastructure, manage Internet connections, and associated services
Document and distribute design, deployment, and maintenance standards for the broadband platform
Manage the ongoing maintenance of the broadband platform, including grooming, augmentation, and upgrades
Perform capacity and other planning functions for the broadband platform
Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement
Develop and sustain relationships with equipment vendors and service provider

Required Skills

Proficiency with Nokia Routing and Switching.
Previous experience in a Tier 2 or above position.
Prior work experience at an ISP with a Fiber Optic Network
