Work Shifts:

Rotating


Under the supervision of the Sergeant, conducts Law Enforcement function in an efficient, professional, and expeditious manner while responding to alarms and implementing security/safety measures.

Patrols designated areas to ensure security, and safeguarding of life and prope1ty against fire theft, and vandal ism.

Control access where indicated, evict loiterers and disorderly person(s)

Arrest law violators when necessary

Upholds and re-enforces HHC Rules and Regulations/Policies and Procedures

Reports immediately all suspicious or unlawful conduct to Central Command


Reports security incidents to his/her supervisors and prepares and submits written reports and takes action, as appropriate, to prevent recurrences.


As required, provides assistance to the sick, injured, mentally and physically disabled, and calls for ambulance and/or medical attention when necessary.

Courteous and respectful at all times.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • A valid New York State motor vehicle driver license may be required for appointment to certain positions based on the operational needs of the facility. If required, this license must be maintained for the duration of employment.
