Marketing & Design Specialist

Mission:


With a name recognized not only in southeast Texas but also nationwide, and with Cogbill already shipping metal and composite products nationwide, we need a marketing and graphics design professional to take over our marketing department over time and take our marketing presence to the next level and help introduce our company in general and our new patent-pending product to a worldwide audience.

Video production and 3D animation capabilities, especially using Blender, will be a great plus.

We aim to produce a wide variety of informational videos and commercials about our patented product and about all our other products and services in general.


Primary Responsibilities:


1.
Marketing:
-
Play a leading role in furthering the company's overall goals:


  • Be responsible for our branding and market penetration.
  • Improve the company's digital footprint by updating the company website, blog, and social media channels.
  • Improve website ranking via
    SEO with article submission, online directories, etc.
  • Advertise on our digital media channels as well as other platforms: TV, radio, print, etc.
  • Conduct market research, understand our products and services and then offer them to relevant targets via our social media tools.
  • Launch advertisement campaigns using Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, and similar mediums to introduce the various aspects of our capabilities and products to the world.

2- Content Creation:

Create video commercials, infomercials, short technical videos, etc, using audio/video gear and editing software

  • Create informative brochures, product catalogs, graphical ads, etc.
  • Learn and publish technical marketing material about our products and services.
  • Compose and edit photo shoots of company products.
  • Create articles, blog posts, webcasts, etc.

Requirements:

-
Reside in southeast Texas or nearby regions

Four-year Bachelor's degree in Business or related fields_, primarily
video production, marketing, graphics design, communications, journalism, etc

Two (2) years B2B marketing and content creation experience

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong commitment to learning our business and the industry as well as our services and products.
  • Working knowledge in
    marketing concepts, B2B marketing, social media for business,
    SEO, etc.
  • Photography, graphics design, and photo editing capabilities.
  • Command of social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Command of tools such as Adobe Photoshop or similar, Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects or similar, Adobe InDesign or similar, videography and video editing software.

Preferences:


  • Seven (7) years experience in marketing and graphic design.
  • SEO certification.
