- Supervising and overseeing staff members and providing training in the absence of upper management

YOUR ROLE
As a Taziki's Shift Leader, you'll be passionate about fresh food and dedicated to providing excellent service to guests, forming genuine connections with them. You'll take charge of the restaurant and the team in the absence of the AGM or GM. Setting the tone for the shift - whether it's opening, mid, or closing - entails giving clear and composed directions to your staff about their tasks, assisting or working at stations when necessary, and promptly addressing guest inquiries.

A DAY IN YOUR TAZIKI'S LIFE
Every day as a Taziki's Shift Leader is unique and keeps you engaged. Your shift may involve opening or closing tasks. During an opening shift, you'll assist the prep team in preparing the store for lunch and organizing catering orders for guests. Ensuring food safety practices and recipe accuracy is crucial. Before opening, gather your team for a pre-shift meeting, update them about the latest Taziki's news, such as recipe changes or new features in our Taz Rewards program. Engage with the community by greeting and assisting guests with Take-Out orders, building personal connections. In the afternoon shift, while managing shift transitions, you'll balance line duties with preparing for dinner orders, both in-store and online. For a PM shift, oversee online orders for Take-Out dinners, while providing excellent service to Dine-In guests. As the shift concludes, prepare prep sheets for the next day based on evening counts and catering orders.

As part of the Taziki's Hospitality Team, you'll be actively moving around the kitchen and dining area, requiring standing for extended periods. Your role involves reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and cleaning. You'll need to prioritize tasks, work swiftly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
