Infant/Nido Teacher Aide/Montessori Assistant Guide (Full-Time)

STEAMspark Montessori Experience is seeking an
Infant/Nido Teacher Aide/Montessori Assistant Guide to serve students from the ages of 6 weeks to 18 months. The
Montessori Assistant Guide plays an essential role in supporting the lead guide, fostering a nurturing and enriching environment, and promoting the healthy development of infants in a Montessori classroom setting.

Offering support and guidance to young children in collaboration with experienced colleagues, you will be an integral part of ensuring parents' peace of mind.

If this is you, we want you on our STEAMspark Montessori team.

We are seeking an instructional assistant to support the Montessori Lead with establishing and maintaining a peaceful Montessori environment.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the "spark" in the classroom.
  • Complete schoolsponsored AMS Montessori training.
  • Foster a peaceful multiage classroom environment that promotes the students' physical, social, and emotional development.
  • Implement Montessori philosophy and curriculum in support of Montessori Leads.
  • Support the delivery of lessons that accommodate for differences in student learning styles.
  • Introduce resources, including technology, at the direction of Montessori lead.
  • Assist Montessori Lead guide in maintaining an engaging, inviting, and respectful classroom.
  • Practice classroom management procedures and standards for desired student behavior.
  • Establish and maintain open communications with Montessori Leads.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly classroom.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Prefer someone pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's degree

Physical Requirements

  • Able to sit on the floor to assist with lessons.
  • Able to lift at least 25 pounds.

  • Can you discuss your experience with implementing lesson plans and educational activities under the guidance of a teacher?

Salary
Salary range of $14.40 to $17.60 per hour
