Position Summary

The Field Services Supervisor - Parking Operations, Maintenance and Fleet will report to the Area Manager of a defined geographical area comprised of several parking facilities including the on-street meters, off-street surface lots and off-street garages. The Supervisor will assist the Area Manager with the supervision, training and development of the parking staff. The Supervisor - Field Services will assist the Area Manager with the daily oversight, functionality, auditing and maintenance of the assigned parking facilities including but not limited to the functionality and maintenance of the off-street parking garages and lots including preventative maintenance for the PARCS, garage cleanliness and monitoring of cleaning schedules and identifying safety/liability concerns. Coordinating and/or working special events, relief event cashiering and from time to time supervision of line staff. The Field Services Supervisor will also assist the Area Manager with the ongoing management of the on-street and off-street meters including calibrations, collections, RMA's and appearance. Special Projects may also be assigned by other members of management including the Area Managers, Vice President of Operations and Executive Director.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides additional supervision to the frontline associates as only directed by the Area Manager. Checking inventory of cleaning supplies and providing needed supplies to frontline associates.
  • Provides additional help to the meter tech daily or as scheduled for all single space meters, multispace meters and sensors. Thus ensuring all are working correctly including but not limited to being programmed correctly, free of coin, bill and card jams, are correctly calibrated, clean and free of graffitti and that the signage and decals are in full compliance and in good condition.
  • Inspect ALL offstreet parking facilities daily to ensure that all offstreet Parking and Revenue Control Systems (PARCS) are working correctly including but not limited to correct programming, being free of coin, bill and card jams, ticket stock is adequate and gate arms are working correctly, checking inventory of gate arms and have correct padding, clean and free of all graffiti and that the signage and decals are in full compliance.
  • Conducts revenue pickups from offstreet paystations in junction with the meter technician. Strict compliance must be met by following the cash control procedures exactly which will include using proper credentials including correct passwords or identification cards while notifying management immediately of any deviations to the written policy and or directions.
  • Develops and maintains a log of all manufacturer recommended routine preventative maintenance and completion of same.
  • Inspects all facilities to ensure all are clean, lighting is adequate and are free of any hazards.
  • Assists Area Manager(s) by placing services calls for all PARCS related repairs that cannot be completed inhouse. As well as placing service calls for all T2 and IPS related repairs that cannot be completed inhouse.
  • Maintains inventory and organization of all storage areas including but not limited to tools, spare parts, machine tickets and paper rolls.
  • Inspects daily all Parking vehicles to verify they are in good working order. Schedule and ensure vehicles are taken to the approved shop for all maintenance activities according to manufacturers recommendations.
  • Although this position is mainly Monday
  • Friday it will be necessary at times to work evenings and other days based on the needs of the business.
  • Maintains all vehicles logs for monthend scanning and entering the mileage data and details into excel.
  • Reviewing maintenance logs across various locations, ensuring accuracy and completion of tasks, and providing meticulous signoffs for each completed task.
  • A complete uniform will be required for this position at all times. When working in the field a reflective safety vest, gloves and safety glasses for the safety of employee and others around him/her is required.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • May be asked to attend internal and external meetings and respond to special requests on an as needed basis.
  • May be asked to fill in for other Supervisors during their absences.
  • Other special projects as directed by Management.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Parking industry or other hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Technical and/or mechanical knowledge preferred.
  • Strong Customer Service experience.
