    Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team.

    As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care during surgical procedures.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a difference in the lives of our patients.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
    • Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety throughout the surgery
    • Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon
    • Assist with positioning and draping of patients
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment

    Experience:
    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • required...
    • REQUIRED to be a 3 or 4 in scrubbing for neuro + ortho.
    • Level 2 trauma center, will need experience with trauma patients...
    Required

    • Experience scrub and circulate, neuro, orthopedics, general and robotic surgeries.


    • Ability to perform basic life support techniques in emergency situations

    Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse license in NJ
    • BLS ,ACLS and PALS, or NRP Required
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must be proficient Cerner charting system...
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
