- Check tools in and out as needed by students and instructors.
- Inventory tools, shop supplies and materials and audit periodically for accuracy.
- Send equipment out for refurbishment, as required. Maintain thorough inventory recording and control systems.

Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Tool Room Lead, the tool room specialist will provide on-site customer service to students and instructors by filling tool and equipment needs, checking tools in and out to jobs, and cleaning and inspecting tools. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment.
The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple tasks, be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic; be familiar with warehouse maintenance, management & operations; and have knowledge of aircraft material hardware (e.g., hoses, hose couplings, air valves, fasteners, chucks, collets, guides, locators, cutters, etc.), Able to work with hazardous material such as Methyl Propyl Ketone, alcohols, cadmium, composites, etc. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and operate lift equipment for heavy and/or bulky equipment, boxes and crates. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Familiarization with Crib Master a plus. Candidate must be well organized, computer literate with working knowledge of inventory control and accountability procedures with a sense of safety, customer service and urgency. Work well with others in a team environment for extended periods of time to support factory training.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) to four (4) years of tool and/or inventory stock control related experience.
