Role Purpose:

The Warehouse Optimization Specialist is responsible for facilitation and the implementation of key operations initiatives and continuous improvement projects. The goal of this role is to provide support, training, and project management; designed to improve operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will utilize technical, as well as operational skills to drive efficiencies across the supply chain.

Accountabilities & Impact:

• Manage and facilitate warehouse projects and efficiency initiatives.
• Manage and track efficiencies of all warehouse equipment.
• Provide support and direction for project implementations.
• Prepare KPI updates and presentations.
• Assist in the evaluation and update of SOP's.
• Implement Best Practices
• Evaluate and improve operations specifically in space optimization, LGV efficiency, and the effectiveness of processes.
• Evaluate and maintain all equipment utilizing both our in-house maintenance department and contractors (LGVs, forklifts, recycle equipment, conveyors, etc.)
• Assist in development of analytical tools designed to improve operational efficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing and implementing projects.
• Must be able to multi-task and work within deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal communication skills.
• Initiative-taking and able to influence others with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivated.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Fast-paced and constantly changing work environment
• Shift work including days, evenings, overnight shifts, and up to 12 hrs.
• Overtime including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/move 8-12 hours per day
• Ability ascend/descend stairs/ladders throughout shift
• Ability to work outdoors occasionally, exposed to outside conditions, for short periods of time
• Ability to work around moving vehicles/robots
• Excellent hand/eye coordination including manual dexterity
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including (but not limited to) bump cap, safety steel toe shoes and safety glasses
• Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
