    Description

    cFocus Software is looking for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Team Lead to lead our team supporting the USDHS at the Freedom Center in Herndon, Virginia!

    This position offers the flexibility of remote work. It requires an active Secret clearance and compliance with 8570 requirements.




    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
    - Active Secret Clearance DHS Experience and Suitability. 8570 Compliant (Security+ CE)
    - A minimum of 10 years of cybersecurity experience in IT, including direct support for the US Government, with at least 7 years of experience as an ISSO, assessor, or compliance analyst for enterprise IT systems. Alternatively, a relevant Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering and 7 years of IT cybersecurity experience, including direct support for the US Government, with at least 5 years as an ISSO, assessor, or compliance analyst.


    At least TWO of the following security certifications:
    - CAP, CISSO, CISM, or CISSP.
    - Knowledge of NIST Guidelines and FISMA Cybersecurity compliance requirements.
    - Technical knowledge of complex enterprise IT systems.
    - Knowledge of and experience using relevant cybersecurity and analysis tools such as Archer, Nessus Security Center, Splunk, etc.
    - Experience in effective communication, both oral and written, with technical, non-technical, and executive-level customers.




    Duties:
    - Responsible for ensuring and maintaining security compliance for TSA information systems following NIST, Federal security policies, DHS directives, mandates, and laws.
    - Perform tasks using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and methodology.
