Catholic Financial Life has an exciting opportunity available for an Actuarial Assistant to join our team immediately This position provides an opportunity to work closely with our experienced actuaries on various projects, gaining exposure to a range of actuarial tasks and responsibilities.

• Perform competitive analyses
• Consolidate, aggregate, validate and visualize data
• Test actuarial portions of enterprise systems
• Perform validations of models and interest rate changes
• Perform experience studies, financial reporting and analysis as needed
• Provide support for actuarial projects and initiatives
• Answer member service requests

• Recent or near graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field
• Completion of at least two actuarial exams
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with PowerBI, R, Python or SQL preferred
• Prior internship or work experience in an actuarial or related role is a plus
