Responsibilities
Conduct and coordinate initial customer evaluation requests for a range of industrial multi-discipline projects and develop well defined project scope with accurate cost estimates.
Review the proposed project layout and compare with existing conditions in the plant.
Validate the dimensions shown in the prints are correct for the new equipment, HVAC, & piping to be fabricated for the project.
Make corrections as needed to adhere to projects requirements.
Review and redline the 3D models and shop drawings for all identifiers that are created by the Designer(s) until they meet the owner's specifications and needs of the project.
Create field drawings and collect general information to translate existing process and/or completed projects into as-built drawings for record keeping.

Use Procore software to document all project activity.
Responsible to be onsite throughout installation to oversee the Design Implementation is successful and correct.
Lead project preparation for Project Manager and team for all projects.
Assist in array of contract administration tasks including permitting, new vendor forms, and new customer requirements.
Lead by training, mentoring, and providing guidance to team members.
Requirements
Mechanical degree preferred and/or applicable industry experience.
5+ years in food process layouts using 2D and 3D software.
Create manufacturing drawings and schedules.
Experience with Procore – Project Management Software (preferred)
3+ years' experience managing multi-discipline projects. (Millwright, HVAC, Process Piping)
In-depth understanding of Project Lifecycle from Preconstruction to Closeout.
High attention to detail capabilities with the ability to be a self-starter.
Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or CAD.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
45 to 55 hours per work week in the office and on project site.
Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
