North Suffolk is looking for an
Assistant Vice President, Clinical Services to join our team The Assistant Vice President, Clinical Services (AVP) works closely in support of and in partnership with Chief Operating Officer (COO) in developing, executing, and continuously evaluating the effectiveness of program areas.

The AVP will collaborate with the COO on overall operational, clinical, fiscal, quality, and compliance responsibilities of clinical programs.

The AVP will be a part of the senior management team that represents NSCS on a local, regional, and national level.

The AVP will develop and ensure a deep knowledge of project management, program leadership and management, external relationships, and minimize siloing of functions and workflows and maximize coordination and integration of services.

What you'll do:


  • Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ensure program and organizational excellence by establishing operational and clinical benchmarks, timelines, and resources needed to achieve goals, proactively recommending and driving improvements as necessary; set standards for accountability and metrics of success.
  • Provide leadership in the development of interteam communication and cohesiveness, sustaining culture and supporting staff during organizational growth.
  • Ensure that key performance indicators and outcomes and/or policy, advocacy, and legislation are evaluated and leveraged for maximum community and organizational impact.

What you'll need:


  • Education:
  • Master level degree from an accredited program in business, psychology, administration, social work, psychology, nursing or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • At least ten (10) plus years relevant experience in senior administrative or clinical management positions in a behavioral health care setting.
  • Working knowledge of State, Government, Community and Union policy/procedures and regulations.
