Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for concrete work
- Assist with metal stud framing, plastering, frame carpentry, roofing, welding, and flooring installation as needed
- Renovate and repair concrete structures
- Caulk joints and edges for a finished appearance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in concrete finishing and related construction tasks
- Proficiency in using power tools for construction work
- Knowledge of metal stud framing, plastering, frame carpentry, welding, and flooring installation is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure highquality finishes
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
Previous experience with Concrete work on sidewalks and corners is a PLUS
Pay:
$46.95 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Queens, NY (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Queens, NY: Relocate before starting work (required)
