Description

The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors, both in-person and over the phone, and will provide exceptional customer service while performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring that it is stocked with the necessary supplies and equipment
• Update calendars and schedule meetings
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

• Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Handson experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Customer service attitude
• High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
