Since its establishment, Lebenshilfe Berlin has been advocating for the participation of people with disabilities.

With over 2,000 employees, we provide support in our residential, counseling, employment, and leisure programs to help our clients live as independently as possible.

We offer inclusive and respectful support tailored to their individual needs.

Our Wohnstätte 8 is located directly at Monbijou Park and is easily accessible by public transportation. The facility houses adults with intellectual and complex disabilities in small groups of eight people each.

Our teams consist of seven to nine members who actively participate in shaping the content and organizational processes of the facility, ensuring high-quality support together as a team.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting clients in their daily lives, taking into account their personal wishes
Accompanying clients in various leisure activities to promote active participation
Promoting individual skills, especially communication abilities
Providing care and carrying out medical orders
Maintaining contact with parents, relatives, legal guardians, and workplaces
Developing work goals and steps based on the HMBW procedure and documenting them using software

Requirements:

3year training in a social care/educational profession (with state recognition) or 3year training in a nursing/health profession (with permission to use the legally protected professional title) or completed university degree in the health or social sector
Previous practical experience in disability support is desirable but not required
