Position Summary:


The primary function or purpose of this position is to provide inside sales promotion support to the various market sales teams while also supporting the GTM strategies of the marketing team.


Responsibilities:


  • The ISDRI work the stale leads database and the low score (12 marketing qualified leads) to determine if future sales potential is possible and if applicable contact customers digitally to determine needs and promote the company or products to advance to the next couple of stages in the buying journey.
  • May participate in sales efforts as part of a larger team, such as trade shows and customer inhouse visits.
  • Once a lead is closer to the buying stage, the lead will be transferred to an account executive.
  • The Inside Sales Development Representative I (ISDRI) coordinates with sales management, marketing, and field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities.
  • Being an Inside Sales Development Representative I will require learning the different positioning, and competitive advantages of each market as well as learn the different pain points and pain points of typical markets. The ISDR helps select appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers to further the customer in the buying journey to the point of eventual handoff to the account executive.
  • Reaches out to customers to promote relevant webinars, educational postings, relevant products or opportunities that might benefit the customer.
  • The ISDRI will be asked to perform additional duties relevant to the role as the understanding of the position and market needs progress.

Qualifications:


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Role requires strong computer, oral and sales relationship development skills. ISDRI will be required to learn Salesforce and other relevant sales and marketing programs.
  • Some college/university training a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Selfdisciplined and selfmotivated to perform at a high level.
  • Able to work to and deliver on specific goals and deliverables.

Education, Training, Experience

  • 02 years' experience in sales roles.
  • 12 years' experience fostering customer relationships.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:


  • Majority of work is conducted in a temperaturecontrolled office environment and may require extended periods of sitting.
  • Work may include occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs.).
  • May be exposed to airborne particles and chemicals used in fermentation production facilities.
