Amada Senior Care is currently seeking an
Office Assistant to become part of our team.
The
Office Assistant is responsible for overseeing the needs of clients and care requirements.
A critical component of this role is to demonstrate the Amada's culture of compassion, accountability, and results by displaying the highest standards of integrity, superb follow-through, consistency, first rate customer service, and exceptional client satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the needs of clients and care requirements.
- Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients' needs.
- Help with the hiring process, including: recruiting, interviewing, screening, onboarding, orientation, and training.
- Effectively form relations with clients and caregivers.
- Communicate new assignments and schedule changes to caregivers and clients, and review care plans with assigned caregivers.
- Work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, personnel, and company operations.
- Maintaining files, creating, and updating records, while ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
- Participate in On-Call rotation.
- Promote Amada's reputation as "best place to work."
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Have excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous Home/Senior Care experience with scheduling/recruiting preferred.
- Must have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills and followup skills with clients, and caregivers.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with people of all cultures.
- Creative, innovative, and problemsolving abilities necessary.
- Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of related work experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet, and Outlook required.
- Ability to learn other software programs quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
