firstPRO, Inc is working with a healthcare company and they are looking for an Accounting Manager to come in and oversee 13 people.

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, particularly focusing on debit/credit and full P&L.

This individual will be responsible for managing the accounting functions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and statements to provide accurate financial information to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
Manage internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive strategic initiatives and enhance financial performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.

Proven experience as an Accounting Manager in the healthcare industry, preferably with exposure to [mention specific area, e.g., medical devices or manufacturing].

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
