    Description
    About InduPro
InduPro is bringing life-changing therapies to patients through novel cell-surface platform technologies. We are defining and manipulating protein interactions beyond natural signaling paradigms. InduPro platforms integrate inherent protein proximity at the cell surface with the ability to manipulate protein pairings via induced protein proximity to create novel signaling pathways and logic gates. Our culture fosters innovation at every level.

    The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly-motivated molecular biologist to join the Molecular Discovery group to help expedite and enable our therapeutic opportunities via induced proximity strategies. As part of an exciting startup, you will support binder generation and binder evolution efforts from within our discovery platforms and execute on strategic workplans to advance candidate drugs from discovery into lead candidate selection. You will also work cross-functionally with other teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Design, optimize, and execute high-throughput cloning and DNA production strategies for the generation of expression constructs using various molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, restriction digestion, Gibson assembly, etc.).
  • Perform cell culture, recombinant protein expression and purification using microbial or mammalian expression systems, with a focus on smaller scales and efficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges related to cloning, protein expression, and purification, and implement solutions to optimize experimental workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experimental procedures, results, and data analysis, and contribute to the preparation of scientific reports and publications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide molecular biology support and contribute to the design and execution of experiments aimed at achieving project goals.
  • Interact with external groups, such as contract research organizations and collaborators, to commission work as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Education & Experience
  • Ph.D. with 0-3 years of experience, or M.S. with 5+ years relevant experience, or B.S. with 10+ years of relevant experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-throughput cloning techniques, including vector design, primer design, and construct assembly.
  • CRISPR and mRNA construct design and/or cell line development experiences are preferred.
  • Proficiency in small-scale DNA productions and recombinant protein expression and purification methodologies (both microbial and mammalian expression systems).
  • Familiarity with enabling platforms such as Lynx liquid handling and KingFisher magnetic separations is desirable.
  • Strong critical thinking and evaluative skills
  • Decisive results-oriented individual who is flexible, team-oriented, creative, and able to excel in a multi-project, fast-track environment.

  • Physical presence at the InduPro worksite, or in the field, is required for this role. At InduPro we believe that physical presence helps enhance collaboration, innovation, productivity, employee well-being, employee engagement, and Company culture.
