    Kyocera International, Inc. also has a robust corporate culture and philosophy based on the experiences and writings of our founder, Dr. Under minimal supervision, creates complex plans and drawings for engineering and manufacturing use in satisfying customer requests for product. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

    2+ years of experience as mechanical drafter/designer or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced knowledge of drafting techniques, CAD software, design rules, procedures and documentation systems required.


    Uses databases and/or software programs, such as package layer software (CAD/CAM), to post and update transactions, design complex packages, data conversion, prepare artwork, and otherwise support design functions.

    Ensures conformance to company quality system, working with an engineer, manager, or technical staff supervisor. Must be familiar with design rules, procedures, documentation systems, and related processes within the company.
    Demonstrates creativity in meeting design rules to accomplish a given design.
    Responsible for providing guidance and training to lower-level designers.
    Consults with engineers to discuss and interpret design concepts and determine requirements of detailed working drawings.
    Coordinates with other internal departments affected by design development.
