    Looking for a Senior SolidWorks Designer/Drafter opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? As a Senior SolidWorks Designer/Drafter, you will be supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center at Old Town in San Diego, CA.

    You will be part of member team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems.

    Serco Inc. is using this posting for the purpose of responding to a task order proposal on an existing contract. Create complex 3D models based on sketches, redlines or direct engineer input (at customer site).
    Produce 2D drawings from 3D models.
    Complete Site Surveys.
    Maintain equipment and/or systems integrity while ensuring compliance with policies.
    Adhere to Quality Assurance process and/or procedures.
    A current DoD Secret Clearance.

    Ability to obtain all required certifications (Solidworks & AutoCAD) within the timeframe specified in a waiver by the government (if applicable) and maintain required certifications through the duration of the contract.

    5 years of experience in SolidWorks (preparing 3D models and drawings) and AutoDesk's AutoCAD.
    Professional training courses in SolidWorks and/or SolidWorks Certification or the ability to obtain and maintain them.
    The ability to obtain a US Passport.
    Familiarity and knowledge with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of engineering and drafting.

    The ability to work hybrid (at Serco office and NIWC OT Campus, some remote may be possible) and regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is mandatory.

    The ability to work any shift/designated hours required and ability to work overtime as required.
    The ability to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work.

    The ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels.

    The ability to travel up to 25% of the time and to travel as needed for role.


    In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $73,214.however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
