- Graduate from an AMA-approved respiratory care program OR associate degree in a health-related program of study OR Certificate of completion of an approved Polysomnographic Technology program.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Respiratory Therapist credentials (CRT or RRT) and licensure in the State of Nebraska.
- Registered Polysomnography Technician (RPSGT) by BRPT within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of four years of respiratory and sleep experience.
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and collaborate with others.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner License in Nebraska.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Minimum of two years' experience as a respiratory therapist.
- Prior HSAT/PSG scoring experience.
- Previous clinical experience in a sleep lab environment.
- Experience with equipment utilized in the scope of practice.
- Experience with quality assurance and policy processes.
- Computer experience with data management.
