- Complete product training and demonstrate proficiency.
- Perform routine services to ensure equipment availability.
- Check and adjust equipment for optimal print quality.
- Replace consumables such as CRUs, paper, and toner.
- Track and rebuild CRUs following procedures.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for maintenance and supply inventories.
- Operate equipment for printing, scanning, copying, and finishing documents.
- Support the download and installation of printer drivers.
- Proactively manage consumables and supplies replacement.
- Complete customer inventory reporting as needed.
- Provide customer training on equipment functionality.
- Manage equipment asset tracking and records.
- Provide repair and preventative maintenance for office printing products.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and retrofit activities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with timely, courteous service.
- Follow service call procedures and notify customers of call status.
- Keep service management informed of potential issues.
- Participate in service workgroups to enhance productivity.
- Use a laptop for internet access, file downloads, and email.
- Perform mechanical adjustments and troubleshoot using manuals and tools.
- Accurately report activities and time.
- Manage inventory of assigned parts and tools.
- Communicate with customers about service call status and concerns.
- Meet standards for notifications, response time, repair hours, parts cost, first-time fix, and call-backs.
- Provide reliable transportation for service calls.
- Proficiency in using AC/DC electrical multi-meter for troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently or on a team with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet connectivity, and file management.
- Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience or formal training in AC-DC electrical/electronics.
- Functional knowledge and application of a multi-meter.
- A certificate or diploma from a vocational program, technical school, or college in electronics, electrical/mechanical repair, or a similar field.
- Vehicle must have enough space for parts inventory and be able to secure parts, tools, and electronic equipment.
- Vehicle must be maintained in good working order and pass safety inspections.
- Proper licensing and insurance required for business use.
