Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)
- Must be certified to operate required material handling equipment.
- Must be able to learn how to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
- Should have general knowledge of RhinoAg products and parts.
- Basic math skills and computer data entry skills essential.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Requirements:
Position Summary
Under direct supervision, performs duties to receive, retrieve, transfer, store parts and materials for manufacturing operations, reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Follows all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintains housekeeping in assigned areas.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, request for materials, sales orders, tools or other stock items and deliver items to production areas.
- Assembles orders from stock and places on pallets or in baskets, moves orders to packing station, shipping department or trailers.
- Places received material and excess inventory in storage locations.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Accurately records locations and amounts of materials or items received, transferred or distributed.
- Moves materials as required using lift truck or other means.
- Uses computer and handheld scanner to access information, record transactions and verify data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
