    STV has an immediate need in either our Charlotte, NC or Morrisville, NC offices for a Senior Civil Engineer in our Transportation & Infrastructure Division


    The successful candidate will:
    Check Storm Water Management Reports and plans for roadway, transit, rail, and culvert/bridge projects.

    Perform quality control for hydrologic & hydraulic studies, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reportsCoordinate permitting through various water management agenciesParticipate in project development meetings with clientsMentor technical staffEstablishing working relationships and interfacing with client technical staff and project managersExperience with green stormwater, and erosion and sediment control techniques is a plusResponsibilities include:
    Using hydrologic and hydraulic software such as Geopak Drainage, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS modeling to check work performed by technical staffStrong inter-personal skills for client and other engineering discipline interactionCandidate should possess knowledge and experience of NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and Local government design and permitting requirements

    Required Skills:
    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering and (Civil, Biological, Agricultural, or another related discipline)

    A minimum of 15+ years of experience of Water Resources and Storm Water Design Engineering - design of storm drains, culverts, storm water management, BMPs, , hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and Floodplain studies, and cost estimatingNC PE license is required Compensation Range:
