Our client, one of the leading independent German automotive banks under the umbrella of an international group, is looking for a skilled and experienced Head of Compliance (m/f/d) in Kingstown. With over 750 employees, the company works in its modern headquarters in Hamburg to create innovative products and solutions for the mobility of the future. The main task of the position holder is to monitor and operationally manage the compliance of all major regulatory requirements of the bank, as well as to lead and develop the employees in the department.

Your tasks

for regulatory compliance, operational risk management, complaint management, and internal controls according to MaRisk and BaFin regulations.
and monitoring of procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal regulations.
to the management in regards to compliance topics such as money laundering, regulatory requirements, and reputation risks.
of risks and conflicts of interest, conducting risk assessments, and preparing risk reports.
and development of the compliance team, as well as optimization of process flows.

Your profile

solid professional experience in the field
good knowledge of all compliance topics listed under "tasks" desirable
in the banking/insurance/financial services sector, possibly with a background in auditing/consulting
