Key Responsibilities
- Oversee food and beverage service areas and events.
- Ensure proper bar setup, including glassware and other necessities.
- Confirm staff compliance with uniform and appearance standards.
- Hire, train, and manage staff to meet hotel quality and service standards.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate staff schedules.
- Coordinate with staff on reservations and special events.
- Conduct preshift and preevent meetings.
- Evaluate staff performance and enforce disciplinary actions as needed.
- Address and meet guest needs and concerns.
- Handle employee relations and review incidents with the Area General Manager.
- Conduct employee performance appraisals.
- Manage inventories of beverages, china, glassware, etc.
- Secure the bar during opening and closing.
- Control beverage costs and assist with purchasing and budget management.
- Maintain accurate staff punch details and process sales reports.
- Boost food and beverage sales through marketing and staff training on upselling.
- Ensure staff adherence to safety, sanitation, food preparation, storage, and alcohol control policies.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by handling inquiries and implementing service improvements.
- Prepare for events and large parties to maintain service consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Primarily manage and lead, but fill in as needed during peak times or staff shortages.
- Participate in weekly meetings.
- Support and implement hotel initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure topnotch customer service and policy adherence.
- Stay updated on industry trends and similar bars.

Pay:
$85, $100,000.00 per year
