Golisano Childrens Hospital of Southwest Florida/Lee Health is seeking a Pediatric Physiatry Physician

Located near the beaches of Southwest Florida is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services to take care of all of our communitys children from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage.

Lee Health system is a non-profit organization comprised of more than 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,000 employed primary care and specialty providers with over 95 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has 4 acute care hospitals and 2 specialty hospitals that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Golisano Childrens Hospital has been named Top Childrens Hospital by The Leapfrog Group four times. Golisano is home to Southwest Floridas only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center and is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Golisano is recognized as an Asthma Friendly Hospital by the Florida Asthma Coalition.

Lee Memorial Hospital, HealthPark Medical Center and Gulf Coast Medical Center earned recognition as a Best Regional Hospital in Florida by U.S. News & World Report, in addition to being rated as High Performing. Cape Coral Hospital was also awarded a High Performing rating.

All Lee Health adult acute care hospitals have been named among Americas Best Hospitals for 2022, a distinction that places them in the top two and five percent of hospitals nationwide, according to Healthgrades.

Leapfrog Group released its Spring 2022 Hospital Safety Grades and awarded HealthPark Medical Center with an A grade for the sixth straight reporting period, and advanced Gulf Coast Medical Center to an A from the last reporting period.
