    The Role:
    Senior Analyst

    As a Senior Analyst you will help clients generate insights from open-source data.

    This will include leading Junior Analysts and Analyst to help clients configure, understand, and use Logically Intelligence, Logically's proprietary open-source intelligence (OSINT) platform, and conduct OSINT collection, analysis, and reporting.

    A successful Senior Analyst must be able to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.

    They must inherently take initiative to consistently and constantly identify new ways to create value for clients and develop internal capabilities without heavy oversight or guidance.


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage 2-3 Junior Analysts or Analysts or act as an individual contributor to execute client projects as needed.
    • Help clients understand, configure, and use Logically Intelligence, Logically's proprietary open-source intelligence platform.
    • Conduct OSINT collection, analysis, and reporting related to online harms, such as threats of violence, misinformation, disinformation, malign influence operations, and domestic or foreign extremist and terrorist activity.
    • Engage with clients to understand their missions and requirements in order to execute projects and deliverables.
    • Coordinate with internal product, engineering, and data science teams to translate customer requirements in order to generate insights for clients and inform product development.
    • Assist with project planning and execution, including but not limited to developing statements of work, project plans, and overseeing the development of client deliverables.
    • Assist with business development activities as needed.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 6-8 years of relevant experience with private sector, government, and/or NGO organizations related to national security, defense, foreign affairs, international development, law enforcement, social media and other relevant fields.
    • 4-6 years of open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection, analysis, and reporting experience.
    • Experience related to online harms, such as threats of violence, misinformation, disinformation, malign influence operations, and domestic or foreign extremist and terrorist activity preferred.
    • Strong proficiency in social media monitoring tools and configuring such tools using boolean logic.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, specifically in policy and/or intelligence style writing and briefings.
    • Strong initiative and ability to act independently.
    • Strong proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical rigor.
    • Strong interpersonal and client engagement skills.
    • Experience managing staff.
    • Proficiency in language(s) other than English.
    • B.A. in International Relations, National Security, Foreign Affairs, Regional Studies, Political Science and/or related disciplines.
    • Advanced degree in International Relations, National Security, Foreign Affairs, Regional Studies, Political Science and/or related disciplines.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of and experience in U.S. elections, national security and defense, and/or international development.
    • Experience working with and/or for professional services, software-as-as-a-service (SaaS), and/or start-up organizations.
    • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and environments (e.g. intelligence analysts, data scientists, engineers).
    • Active U.S. government security clearance.
