JOB GOAL: To support the teacher in achieving classroom and individual goals for students.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • - High School Diploma or equivalent
  • - Maintain Valid AZ Fingerprint clearance
  • - Excellent attendance record
  • - First Aid and CPR certification required
  • - Capability to bend, lift 30 lbs., and stand for extended periods
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 187 Days; 9 Months
COMPENSATION: $15.43 - $18.21
BENEFITS: According to District policy
REPORTS TO: Classroom teacher, site administrator, preschool coordinator
HOURS: 25 hours per week - Monday-Friday 6:15 a.m.11:15 a.m.
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • - Support students with learning materials and activities
  • - Assist with grading, testing, and supervision tasks
  • - Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
  • - Participate in training programs
  • - Help with student routines and aids in various settings
  • - Address parent concerns to the teacher
  • - Follow supervisor's instructions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The job involves standing, sitting, talking, and lifting objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Moderate noise level in the work environment.
