    Responsibilities


    • Develop and nurture relationships with external partners, such as real estate agents, builders, and financial advisors, to ensure a steady stream of loan applications
    • Analyze customers' financial standing and objectives thoroughly in order to determine the best loan product for them
    • Guide customers through every step of the mortgage application process, including outlining different loan options, terms, and conditions, and offering tailored recommendations
    • Collect all necessary documentation from clients while making sure they are accurate and complete, and submit the loan package to the underwriting department for assessment
    • Maintain regular contact with clients, update them on the status of their loan applications, and answer any queries or concerns they may have
    • Work closely with our operations staff to guarantee a seamless and timely closing process, conforming to all regulations and company policies
    • Keep abreast of current industry trends, mortgage products, and lending regulations in order to provide competent and current advice to customers

    Qualifications


    • At least 3 years of experience working as a Loan Officer in the mortgage sector
    • Demonstrated ability to hit sales targets and create new business
    • Comprehensive understanding of traditional home loans, FHA loans, VA loans, and jumbo loans
    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills to establish relationships with clients and referral sources
    • Proficiency in analyzing financial documents, determining creditworthiness, and determining loan approval
    • Familiarity with loan origination software and CRM programs
    • Currently holds an active NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System) credential
