Madison Veterinary Specialists (MVS) is a group of veterinary caregivers providing multi-specialty and 24/7 emergency care in Madison, WI. Our mission is to deliver high-quality specialized and emergency care in a compassionate setting. MVS is an independently-owned and VECCS and AAHA-accredited animal referral center. We are a leading (and rapidly-growing) 24-hour provider of emergency and Specialty services for small animals. We work collaboratively with primary care family veterinarians and have board-certified specialists in various areas including critical care, dialysis, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, and surgery.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Criticalist at Madison Veterinary Specialists. The Critical Care Veterinarian will be responsible for providing specialized and emergency care for dogs and cats. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide variety of challenging medical and surgical cases, ranging from canine cataract surgery to orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. The Critical Care Veterinarian will work collaboratively with the in-house services and referring primary care veterinarians.
